During the evening collectors in fancy dress will be in force collecting on behalf of the Bonfire Society. All monies raised from these collections will be donated in their entirety to local worthy causes. In the past donations have been made to the Police, Fire Brigade Benevolent Fund, and St Johns Ambulance Brigade as a token of our gratitude for the services provided, for which no charge was made to us.

For a number of years the Society has presented the Bob Simms Shield to the individual collector with the highest collection. The EDRA Trophy is to be presented to the highest collection by a group - this Trophy will enable families, organisations and companies etc to take part, so please give generously.
