The White Horse Inn is a 16th Century country Inn, situated on the A264 between East Grinstead & Tunbridge Wells. 20 minutes from Gatwick airport, 4 miles from East Grinstead, 6 Miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Offering a warm & friendly welcome, an inviting & relaxed ambience. | All our food is sourced locally, prepared & cooked to order. Traditional bar meals, light lunches, daily specials & snacks are served daily in the bar. The Gallery restaurant offers fine dining Monday - Saturday evenings, with Sunday lunches served each week in the restaurant & bar areas. Formally used as a luncheon stop for the horse drawn guards transporting prisoners from London to Lewes. Legend has it the Inn was also a courting venue for Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn. All of our rooms are en-suite, we offer all the comforts of a traditional Inn, and the warm welcome you would expect! |
