The
aim of our friendly organisation is to support
members and their families by means of regular
activities and companionship. With the help of friends
we provide transport for our weekly social meetings, sessions
at the swimming pool, and various other outings. These and
many
other activities, some monthly, some seasonal, some creative. Mencap

About
Edenbridge Mencap
Fund
raising events include coffee mornings and having raffles at
our main events.
Together
with private and public donations, we fund the running of our
own Mini Bus, the hire of various venues, equipment for various
crafts and entertainment.
Most
of the activities mentioned above are free to members. The entrance
charge to shows, Parks etc., for parents and helpers are subsidised
by the club.
Annual subscription to the society is £2.00.
New members and additional voluntary helpers are always warmly welcomed.

Wednesday - (weekly) 7.15 - 9.00 pm
Astor Youth Club
We are joined by residents of care village for a wide range of activities.
Refreshments provided. About 30 members from 15 to 65
Tuesday - (Fortnightly)
6.00 - 7.45 pm
Kingfisher Club Tonbridge
Activity evening specifically for teenage members - transport provided
Friday - (weekly) 6.00 - 7.00 pm
Edenbridge Swimming Pool (main)
We are joined by others Mencap groups. About 15 to 25 swimmers,
including some parents and helpers.
Saturday -
(monthtly) 11.00 - 12.00 pm
Edenbiridge Leisure Centre
The main hall is hired for multi sports, Badminton, Hockey, Bouncy
Castle etc.
School
Holidays - 10.15 - 3.00 pm
Play scheme Sevenoaks
for younger members on a daily basis.
