If you are a driver, with as little as a couple of hours a month to spare, you could help us provide an essential service to the community of Edenbridge.
We are the Edenbridge Voluntary Transport Service, a registered charity. Through our volunteer drivers we provide vital transport to and from medical appointments for the residents of Edenbridge and its neighbouring villages. Whilst we provide a door to door service without charge we depend on the donations of our passengers for our survival. In an average month we make over 100 journeys to doctors and hospitals as close as Edenbridge and Tunbridge Wells and as far afield as London. But to maintain this crucial service we need your help.
As a volunteer you will benefit in many ways. You will of course be paid a mileage allowance, journeys will be entirely at your convenience, but even more importantly you will be providing a really key service which existing drivers find both rewarding and enjoyable.
