Neil has held the license at the Wheatsheaf Inn for some 15 years and not only pulls a mean pint behind the bar but also cooks up a storm in the kitchen. The seafood platter, Thai green curry and rabbit casserole are just a few of the firm favorites.
Neil achieved overall winner for the West Kent C.A.M.R.A. (Campaign for Real Ale) “Pub Of The Year” award in 1998 and 2002 and runner up in the Kent Regional C.A.M.R.A. awards for 2002, accolades he is rightly proud of. In the 15 years that Neil has owned the Wheatsheaf he has featured over 1000 different real ales, favorites include Summer lightening, Fuller London Pride, Gales HSB, Harvey's and Everards Tiger.
