The school offers a broad and balanced education covering all subjects of the National Cirriculum incorporating the government's latest initiatives on Literacy and Numeracy. In addition we offer French to pupils in years 5 and 6. All classes participate in educational visits and a residential trip is organised for Year 6 pupils.		We have an enthusiastic team of teachers who work hard to promote high academic standards in a well disciplined environment. Musical Tradition

There is a strong musical tradition at the school and pupils have the chance to learn the recorder and sing in the choir. Lessons in a variety of instruments are available from visiting specialist. All children are given regular opportunities to perform to the audience

There is a wide range of sporting activities, giving children many opportunities to participate in local interschool tournaments. We also offer a large variety of clubs at lunchtime and after school.

The Governing Body
	Governors take a keen interest and are involved in all aspects of school life. The school is well supported by an active Parent Teacher Association which organises a wide range of events throughout the year. The emphasis is on fun and participation. Everyone is welcome to become involved with the PTA.
