Racism is endemic within our society, people in this country have
had a long history of racial intolerance. From the Empire through to today's prejudice against 'Illegal Immigrants'. If we wish to become a truly modern society then we must finally except every member of our society, regardless of colour, race, sexuality or religious belief.

The incredible amount of public hostility aimed towards asylum seekers at the moment is a very worrying development.

Both the Government and Conservative opposition seem happy to fan the flames of
racial intolerance.
