To whom it may concern.
I am unaware of any proposals this coming
summer, to do any work on Cedar Drive (Stangrove) to solve the continued problem of a lack of parking. I feel the work is long overdue, and what little has been done to be of
little help. Double parking on the pavement on the one-way system frequently blocks access to many peoples back gardens, large vehicles struggle to pass these when they are badly parked, oil over pavements, and the deteriating condition of the grass areas where cars etc are forced to park.More concerning is the fact that, often because of the double parking, access by emergency services may be restricted.
These may seem trivial matters, but to many is a daily headache. The cost of sorting these problems is not a hefty one considering in many peoples opinion the waste of money spent on the resurfacing of Cedar Drive, which is of poor workmanship and method used. To many parking and resurfacing
would have made sense to do at the same time.
I look forward to hearing a response soon.
Yours sincerely
