A "New Farmers Market”
Returns to Edenbridge

At long last for all the residents of Edenbridge who enjoyed the pleasure of strolling round the many stalls and buying local produce at the old venue of the Farmers Market (Market Yard) in the past, can now find their delights and pleasure as the “New Farmers Market” becomes a reality again in Edenbridge very soon.

Mrs Charlotte Heijmer the New Farmer’s Market Manager, and fellow colleague Justin Dodd the Day Services Manager, have been in liason together to bring about the new re-vitalised market, especially creating the new venue which is situated on the eco-site in Hever Road, (Self Unlimited), which can’t be missed by those trying to find it as the massive wind turbines mark the area where the market will take place.

What with the many selections and stalls selling the local produce, such as fruit and vegetables, jams, chutneys, home made cakes, fresh local meat, game, fish, cheeses, and bread, there will be other products available from growers and producers who live in and around Kent. All the produce on sale is grown and produced accordingly under the Kent Farmers Guidelines.

Other products are also to make their way here from Surrey and Sussex, and those who have stalls at the market also reassure the buyers that all their own produce is being farmed and grown in a manner that is acceptable to all, being freshly grown and ready at the market in the shortest possible time for those wanting good fresh produce,

There will also be a shop on the site selling their own home grown plants and goods, and for those who like to sit and watch the world go by after a long stroll around the market can relax and rest their legs at …The Oak Tree Bistro, an on site café which will serve your needs with tea, coffee, drinks and cakes, they produce their own chutneys and jam which can be purchased in the café, all of which are made from local ingredients.

Local residents who want to bring this “New Market” to life again will be able to shop there as the first market will be taking place on Friday 24th April, and then every on every second and fourth Friday every month from then on.

The new venue is an excellent site and FREE car parking is available on site right next to the stalls, so there won’t be any reason to walk a long distance with your freshly bought produce.

The “New Farmers Market” Manager Charlotte and Justin…Welcomes everyone to come and visit this exceptionally splendid location, and see for themselves what excellent stalls and produce are there, which will without doubt cater for everyone’s needs.

Don’t Miss the Date…Friday 24th April.
