Southdown PSV the leading independent bus company in East Surrey and West Kent are pleased to announce a “makeover” for Route 236 (East Grinstead – Oxted via Edenbridge & Westerham) from Monday 26 July there will be a new timetable and an additional journey Monday – Friday starting from Penshurst at 0900 to Crawley via Bough Beech to Edenbridge then following the existing route to East Grinstead this new “shoppers service” then continues on to Turners Hill and Crawley. The bus will leave Crawley at 1400 for the return journey.

Our low floor buses provide easy access for wheelchair users, passengers with baby buggies or shopping trolleys and the less mobile. • 236 Crawley - East Grinstead – Lingfield – Edenbridge –Westerham - Oxted from Monday 26 July there will be a new timetable and an additional journey Monday – Friday starting from Penshurst at 0900 to Crawley via Bough Beech to Edenbridge then following the existing route to East Grinstead this new “shoppers service” then continues on to Turners Hill and Crawley. The bus will leave Crawley at 1400 for the return journey. Also in Oxted the 236 will now serve Bluehouse Lane in both directions.

• 324 Copthorne – Horley – Redhill From Saturday July 28 this route will be withdrawn and replaced by new route 424 – please see below

• 410 Redhill – Nutfield – Bletchingley – Godstone – Oxted – Hurst Green Three earlier through journeys from Hurst Green to Redhill at 0615, 0706 and 0824 Monday – Friday. One earlier through journey on Saturdays from Hurst Green to Redhill at 0715.

• 424 Copthorne –Horley-East Surrey Hospital-Meadvale-Woodhatch-Reigate-Batts Hill –Redhill New Route starts 28 August

• 526/7 Crawley –Charlwood-Horley-Smallfield-Crawley from July 24 to improve reliability a new timetable will be introduced. Buses will now only serve Sainsbury’s at West Green during off-peak periods.

• 594 Chalkpit Wood – Oxted- Chart-Westerham – Biggin Hill from July 24 all journeys towards Westerham will serve Stoneleigh Road at Limpsfield Chart and not the Carpenters Arms.

Changes to School Services from September 2010

• 609 Felbridge – East Grinstead –Dormansland – Lingfield – South Godstone – Oxted County School this service will be withdrawn and will be replaced by an extension of route 410. There will be changes to the timetable.
• 660 Whitebushes – Horley. This route currently operated by Metrobus will be withdrawn and replaced by new route 424 – please see above.
• 677 Charlwood-Horley-Salfords-Woodhatch Reigate College. This route currently operated by W&H Motors will be withdrawn. Passengers from Charlwood and Hookwood should use the 526 service leaving Charlwood at 07.36 and Hookwood at 07.45 where a guaranteed connection at Horley Chequers with service 424 will provide onward travel to Reigate School and Reigate College.
