A
menu will be brought round daily for you to choose from. Any special
diets can br catered for. Our nurses will always help you if you
are in difficulties. An early morning drink is followed by:
Breakfast 8-9
Lunch 12.15
Supper 17.45
Morning coffee, afternoon tea and an evening drink are also served.

Valuables
|

You
will need to bring with
you: nightware, slippers, dressing gown, flannel, toothbrush, soap
and
other personal toiletries.
We provide the towels.
You will also need day
clothes for when you are
up and about.
|
Please
try to avoid bringing
large amounts of money or valubles with you in to the hospital.
If you do, please
give them to the nurse in
charge, who will keep them
safe for you.
Please ask for a receipt for
them. Regrettably the Invicta Community Care NHS Trust cannot be
held responsible for
loss or damage to money or valuables unless this
procedure is respected.

Please
make arrangements
for relations or friends to
launder your personal clothing.

Please
place your order with the ward clerk and it will be delivered in
the morning
|
You
may have visitors at anytime up to 8 pm. Children are welcome with
an adult in attendance.
Because of open visiting your visitos might be asked to wait outside
while you receive treatment.

A
voluntary organisation
will bring the trolley shop
round twice weekly.

Nurses
will always post
letters for you. For those
who are mobile we have a
post box near the Minor Injuries Dept
collections 5pm Mon - Fri.

mobile pay phone is available
for you to use for out-going
calls. You vcan receive
in-coming on the following Telephone number -

A
communion Service is held
on Sunday Mornings and also
at Christmas and Easter.All Clergy will visit when required.

Television
is in the day
room. It can be arranged
for you to have a portable
set when necessary. Please speak to your staff about this.

In
the case of a fire or any other emergency, please follow instructions
given by the staff.

Our League of Friends was founded in 1957
and has
been a tremendous support
to our hospital, making it possible for many additions , accessories
and equipment,
not forgetting comforts,
which we would not have otherwise. If you would like
to become a member, membership forms are
available at the hospital.

Suggestions & Complaints

If
you are not satisfied with
the service you receive, we suggest thatyou first of all tell the
person you have been seeing, who will try to sort
out your problem wnenever possible.

Suggestion
boxes are
available on the wards and outpatient waiting areas.
We are always open to suggestions and complaints
to enable us to give an even better service for the future.
