340 is an active and successful Air Cadet squadron located in the rural town of Edenbridge on the Kent/Surrey border. On two evenings per week and on many weekends, the young people of Edenbridge and its surrounding communities are discovering the exciting world of military aviation, flying gliders solo, on camping expeditions, playing sport or displaying precision accuracy on a shooting range. But most importantly, they are developing into well rounded, disciplined, responsible and confident young adults with a real head start in life.
