Edenbridge Library is housed in a wonderfully historic building on Church Street on the left, just before you get to the church from the High Street. But once you’re inside, only the building is historic. With 7 public computers for you to use, as well as photocopying and fax services available, Edenbridge Library is an up to date and exciting place to visit.

And of course we have a marvellous choice of fiction books to enjoy; a host of information books; DVDs; books on tapes and CDs to entertain you. These resources are there for both adults and children to use and enjoy.
For our youngest members we have picture and board books to borrow. For those just starting to read we have a large selection of early reader books that should sustain even the most enthusiastic new readers.

For children and teenagers we have a good selection of fiction, which will awaken their imagination and give hours of pleasure. Our extensive range of junior information books, combined with all our computer resources, makes Edenbridge Library an ideal place to help with homework. Computer use is free and we won’t even charge for printing for school work.

Library Services
With a good range of adult fiction, non-fiction and large print books we cater for all reading tastes. Constantly changing displays and new ideas for reading means there is always something new to enjoy in a visit to Edenbridge Library. And if you can’t find a book on our shelf then we can get books for you for a very small charge.
Every Thursday, from 9.30am – 12pm we have a Web Wizard who is only to keen to help you use our computers. They can give friendly advice about such things as e-mail, the internet and programmes such as Word.

If you enjoy talking about books, on every second Tuesday of the month we have a lively Reading Group. New members are always welcome. If you can no longer get to the Library yourself, our enthusiastic team of volunteers will deliver books to your home, free of charge. Please phone the library to enquire about this.

We have varied volunteering opportunities; please contact the
library for more information.
So come and enjoy the wide range of resources and so much more at your local library.
