Councillor resigns
Due to pressure of work Cllr David Brogan has resigned from his position as an elected representative for the South and West Wards of Edenbridge Town Council. He was elected in 2007 and had a special interest in youth issues.

Edenbridge will have a new Community Warden
Edenbridge will have a new Community Warden from July 1 in the shape of Keith Boutcher. He has lived in the area for several years, and has been appointed by partner organisations of the Edenbridge Community Warden Steering Group which is funding the new post.

New Police Surgery for Edenbridge
The Edenbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team is launching another regular police surgery for the people of the town.
As well as their established regular surgeries, held at the Co-Op, the team will also be holding surgeries at the Sencio Leisure Centre, Station Road, Edenbridge.
The first one will take place from 2pm-3pm on Thursday 25 February and all local people are welcome to come along.
PCSO Claire Bournazian said: ‘The new surgeries are being held at the same time as the local Age Concern group meets, allowing users of this service to raise any concerns with us. Being at the leisure centre will also make us easily accessible to a wide range of people from the community.’

Rotary Club of Edenbridge is celebrating 40 years of service
The Rotary Club of Edenbridge is celebrating 40 years of service to the community. The Club was born out of Tonbridge Rotary Club, when members from Edenbridge decided they would like to meet in and serve their own local community. It received its charter on 3rd November 1969.

Skate/BMX ramps Open
Youngsters in Edenbridge have a special gift this Christmas – a new BMX and skate facility at Blossoms Park. This is the first stage of a larger project to improve facilities for young people at three locations within the Town.

Youth Focus for Annual Chairman’s Reception, Edenbridge Town Council
Young people were the focus this year at the annual Edenbridge Town Council Chairman’s reception yesterday, Monday 14 December. Traditionally, the Chairman uses this opportunity to thank some of the large number of volunteers who do so much to make Edenbridge the caring place it is.
