| The kids have nowhere to go. They are noisy, but then again, they are only kids. They just need to be told nicely, most of them are really good kids. |

My friend has been to the Co-Op many a time and found it disturbing; there are always so many children there. They are not behaving badly, but because there is so many of them they are threatening. Bringing the police in is all well and good, but the best option would be to just give them something more to do, after all, the youth club only does two to three nights a week, it’s not enough. |

| It is really not very fair. You only have to be out in a group with your friends, and you just get split up and sent home. The police are nice, but what we want is more places to go. It would stop us hanging around. |

| I have called the police because of things that have been going on. There have been fights up by the station with a really big crowd and the police have reacted quickly. But they will get people’s backs up if they try lots of different initiatives. |

| ‘There wouldn’t be any trouble if there was something for us to do. By doing this it means that the few people who are causing trouble are punishing the rest of us. We all went to meetings with the council, but they didn’t seem to listen. |

I think it is a good thing. But the parents should have done the work, and made their children behave; the police shouldn’t have to be involved. I hope the police do all they can. |
