Michelham Priory
Founded in the 13th century by the Augustinians, who used the priory and farmed the land until the dissolution of the monasteries 300 years later in the 16th-century, by where it became a farmhouse. Situated in a beautiful area with fine gardens surrounding the Elizabethan wing. Visit the impressive Tudor barn and explore the mill and wheelwrights shop.

Taste the fresh scones, bread and cakes made from the flour ground by the Priory's own watermill, driven by the River Cuckmere.
