Area Commander of West Kent Police, Supt Jeremy Price has made the following comment about the recently published national crime figures in respect of the West Kent area:
“The crime figures are good news for West Kent. The South East being described as the safest part of England and Wales and West Kent is one of the safest parts of the South East.
I am of course aware that there is still the opportunity to improve and by continuing the work we are doing within the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships across the West Kent area this improvement can become a reality.”
Theft of car – Westerham

The car owner was out walking in Farley Lane just before Farley Common when she saw a blue transit van closely followed by her car. The vehicles were driving along Farley Lane in the direction of the A25. It appears that the keys to the car were taken from the address while the owner was out.
