Sgt Michael Perryman, West Kent Crime Reduction Dept said; “On icy mornings drivers need to allow extra time to make sure their vehicles are clear before moving off. If you decide to start your car and leave the engine running you should make sure you use the spare key to lock it. It would be safer to stay with your car.”
