Missing person - man’s body found
On Friday 6 October police appealed, via broadcast media, for information about a man missing from his home in Edenbridge.
Today a man’s body has been found in the Edenbridge area. Formal identification has not been completed but police believe the body is that of the missing man. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Next of kin and the coroner’s office have been advised. An inquest will be held.

Appeal for information – Edenbridge
Police in West Kent are appealing for information about an incident that happened at Wine Masters, High Street, Edenbridge on Tuesday 26 September about 8.20pm.
A member of staff asked a group of 5 or 6 teenagers to leave the shop and as they did so they were abusive to the employee and pushed things over. Officers investigating the incident would like to identify the teenagers, one of the group is described as having an injury to his arm and another is black and was wearing a white t-shirt.

Road traffic incident – Edenbridge
Police received a number of calls from 7.00pm onwards on Monday 2 October about a pot hole that had appeared in Godley Stock Road, near to the junction with Hosey Hill.
A number of cars, at least 5, had damage caused to the tyres or wheels as a result. Because of the number of cars that had to stop the road was blocked for a short time.
Highways authorities were advised and they dealt with the hole.

Arrest for burglary in Edenbridge
Police have arrested and charged a 16 year old boy from the Marsh Green area in connection with a burglary that happened at Edenbridge Cricket Pavilion, Mill Hill, Edenbridge in June 2006. The boy was bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court.
The Pavilion has suffered a number of similar incidents and police are following various lines of inquiry in respect of these.

Appeal for information about burglary – Westerham
Police are appealing for information about a burglary at the chemist, Market Square, Westerham that happened between 3.50 – 3.55am Sunday 01 October.
A pane of glass in the shop door was smashed to get access to the premises and a charity box taken. A red saloon car was seen in the area at the time the incident happened.
