Election called for Cowden Parish Council

Following the resignation of Carolyn Blofeld from Cowden Parish Council, an election has been called to fill the vacancy that will take place on Thursday 9 September 2004.

Two candidates have put their names forward - Susan Gammage from Butterwell Hill and Gladys Smoult from the Post House in the High Street.

Poll cards have been delivered and voters in Cowden will be invited to go to their normal polling station in the Memorial Hall from 8am on 9am.

Anyone who is unable to get to the polling station on the day can choose to vote by post.

A simple application form is available by telephoning the Elections Helpline on 01732 227188 or 227243 or by visiting the Council's website www.sevenoaks.gov.uk
