Planning page set to be a hit
Residents of Sevenoaks District can now request and pay for copies of a range of planning documents and the planning history of a property from 1948 online through the Council's website.
Most requests for documents will be issued within two working days and the process will be made quicker if a planning reference number can be quoted. Residents who do not know the reference number of any specific planning application over five years old can request this through the online planning history service. Details of applications from the last five years are available on the website through 'Public Access' on the 'Planing and Building Control' page.
Cllr Jill Davison, Cabinet Member with responsibility for planning, says: "This new service will greatly speed up the public's access to planning documents. Given that residents and businesses can now request and pay for planning documents, they will no longer have to make the journey to the Council offices."
Copies of Planning and Building Regulation Decisions, Letters of Representation, Tree Preservation Orders, Appeal Decisions, Development Control Committee extracts, Listed Building listings, Enforcement Notices, Local Plan extract, Drainage Map extract, Section 106 Agreements, and Building Regulation Completion letters can now all be requested and paid for online.
Residents should log onto
