Team prepares to get in the zone!
The nine-strong team responsible for keeping children and young people entertained during the popular Youth Zone programme was unveiled this week.
The 'In the Zone Summer Programme' returns on Monday 31 July, and will be visiting more than 20 towns and villages across the District bringing fun filled activities to children of all ages.
Circus skills, sports and team games, arts and crafts and face painting will be on offer every day, so there will be something for everyone!
Activities will run from 11am to 3.30pm each day, weather permitting, without the need to book in advance as activities are run on a turn up and join in basis. Young people are registered when they arrive and leave the site, although under eights must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or carer at all times. Please bring a packed lunch if you would like to stay for the day.
This year the Youth Zone Team has got new equipment, new ideas and even more staff, so more children and young people can join in the fun.
The dates and details of the In the Zone Summer Programme and other exciting summer activities can be found by viewing the young people's pages on the Council's website www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/youngpeople or by calling the Council on 01732 227000.
