NHS West Kent is delighted to announce the upgrading of the X-ray department at the Edenbridge and District War Memorial Hospital.

The work, which will start in mid-January and continue for approximately three months, will see the current department transformed into a state-of-the-art facility of which the whole community will be able to feel proud.

As well as the installation of new modern digital X-ray facilities, the works will also include the upgrading of the podiatry and minor operations clinics.

Dawn Hallam, NHS West Kent locality manager, said: “This is all part of continuing investment in local services in West Kent. It will help upgrade the hospital and I hope all local residents will appreciate the transformation." “While the works are going on, NHS West Kent will do its utmost to ensure disruption and inconvenience to patients is kept to a minimum.”
