| TopFoto Gallery Exhibits Eden Valley Artist's Talent's.
The Topfoto Gallery, the world's most well renowned photographic library based in Fircroft Way, Edenbridge, opened its doors on Saturday to selected friends, guests and to all those that had their personal works of art on display for the Eden Art Expo 2010, for an exclusive preview of the exhibition, which had its grand opening to the public the following day on Sunday12th December.
The locally based group, The Eden Valley Artists, and other artists from surrounding areas, put on a superb display of their own works, fantastic sculptures, incredible paintings, ceramics, glass displays and many amazing photographic images.
As the many friends and guests arrived for the opening, Topfoto Gallery owner Alan Smith, was there to welcome everyone with his cheerful smile and handshake, they were offered a glass of hot mulled wine, with a variety of snacks available to nibble as they browsed through the excellent displays on the walls and in the exhibition.
At the exhibition opening, Alan's daughter, Emily Smith and business partner Lynne Paris launched their new product, Xoconochco Hot Chocolate, which specialises in the "Art of Hot Chocolate" served on the spoon. They served guests a sumptuous selection of homemade organic hot chocolate dips, one of a variety of homemade organic flavours which melt off the spoon into a mug of hot milk - a marvellous chocolate experience which many guests enjoyed immensely!
Emily and Lynne created their mouth-watering product following a visit to Luxemburg, where they were treated to chocolate served as it should be.
“I was amazed,” said Emily. “The hot chocolate we had was absolutely delicious – a chunk of real dark chocolate served on a stirring stick. We couldn’t wait to start making them ourselves, and we were determined not to compromise on quality.
“We tested for weeks until we found the exact amount of chocolate to create the perfect drink, and we have developed a delicious range of flavours like orange and chilli, cappuccino and honey.”
“Our chocolate is served on a spoon,” adds Lynne, who lives in Forest Row. “You plunge it into the hot milk, stir it around – and lick it off the spoon! It really makes a treat of the whole experience.”
The name, XOCONOCHCO, comes from an area of Mexico where cocoa beans were originally grown and is pronounced choco-notch-co.
Each hot chocolate is lovingly handmade, individually decorated and beautifully wrapped with different coloured ribbons according to the flavour. They can be bought individually, or presented in an eco-friendly cotton bag or lavishly displayed in a fun tea-cup shaped basket.
The sumptuous selection includes Orange, Orange and Chilli, Cappuccino, Plain, Peanut Butter, Mint, Honey, Amaretto and a seasonal flavour, currently Christmas Spice.
If you think that chocolate is wonderful, then you need to taste the incredible sensations of this company's Delicious and Mouthwatering Temptations of Xoconochco.
This is really "Chocolate Heaven" in its Finest!!!
