The Edenbridge Town Band held a concert at the W.I. Hall in the town, which was held on Sunday afternoon 10th October, to raise needed funds for the charity - Help for Heroes.
The band played a variety of music, with some of the pieces specifically in honour of our Armed Forces plus there were excellent solo's from some members of the band. The audience was fantastic and were extremely generous with their donations.

Edenbridge Town Band is delighted to announce that we raised £732 which has now been sent to Help for Heroes.

Not only would we like to thank the audience for their generosity, but we would also like to thank the WI Ladies who very kindly organised the refreshments during the interval, the Air Cadets who came along to help collect money with the collection boxes and the supporters who offered to park their Willy Jeep's outside the front of the WI Hall for people to look at before the concert.

It was a very successful afternoon for this very worthy cause - Help for Heroes - who will certainly benefit from the Edenbridge Town Band's excellent donation, and those who not only participated in the band but all those who gave so generously...Thankyou All...!!!
