After eight years of devoted service to the community of Edenbridge, the towns Warden Alex Stephen is retiring at the end of this month.

Alex, a favourite among many residents, for his unsurpassed help and kindness he has demonstrated during his eight years, has brought him many new friends and great respect from all those who he has given his very best to.

Sometimes seen walking through the town, he was always ready to give a cheery smile and chat to all those he met, or if he was driving his van around he would always give you a wave, as he sped off to another job to help someone out.

The town will certainly miss him, and all of us here in Edenbridge send him their very best wishes on his retirement.
